At APISA, we are dedicated to enriching the experience of Asian and Pacific Islander (API) students at Contra Costa College and beyond. Our mission is to explore and celebrate the vibrant cultures, traditions, and histories of the API community while increasing awareness of the diverse experiences within it.

What We Do

  • Cultural Engagement: Join us for a variety of events that highlight the richness of Asian and Pacific Islander cultures. From cultural festivals to educational workshops, we create spaces where members can learn, share, and connect.
  • Community Support: We foster a supportive environment that encourages dialogue and collaboration. Our initiatives are designed to empower members by providing resources related to academic support, mental health, and career development.
  • Advocacy and Awareness: We are committed to advocating for equitable representation and addressing the challenges faced by the API community. Through discussions and outreach, we aim to raise awareness and promote understanding.
  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with fellow students, alumni, and professionals in various fields. We facilitate networking events that help our members build valuable relationships and career prospects.
