6 steps on how to receive priority registration at Contra Costa College

Step 1: Go to https://www.contracosta.edu/apply-now/ and complete the 3 steps to receive priority registration in Group 3
Step 3: Online Orientation – accessed through their InSite Portal. It takes about 30-45 minutes and there is a mini quiz at the end
Step 4: Placement – English (or ESL) and math placement, accessed through the Apply Now page. Even if they are not taking an English or math class (or a class with an English or math prerequisite), they should complete the placement. It only takes a few minutes (no longer the 2 hour test 🎉)
Step 5: Educational Planning – we highly recommend students see a counselor to create an educational plan, but students can create their own plan if they choose to: they just need to add classes to their Education Plan (accessed through their InSite Portal)
